What is your experience with using images found on flickr for commercial work?
I used the "Find content to use commercially " option in the advanced search section I found images like (http://www.flickr.com/photos/76... which are pretty cheesy, but about on par with what most stock sites offer. Any know of any issues with this? How can I confirm the source?

As far as I'm aware, as long as you're ticking the creative commons bit in the advanced search, you're good to go...

google search and find original publisher/maker or contact the flickr user. or if it's marked as creative commons ^

I've had quite a bit of success going this way, but never gone with the Flickr interface for it...I've always used http://www.compfight.com
works like a charm.- Oh, that's a great link. Should go in The Useful Thread.Continuity

Don't forget that Flickr partners with Getty Images and sells licensed RF images too. I sell a handful of photos this way myself but both Getty and Flickr don't entirely make searching these types of images specifically all that easy.
