Nope! Microsoft created this giant elaborate plot to feature all these personas (that were quite rad) and ended up killing them all. It woudl have been 100 times better than what they have now. They are the masters of killing great work.

cirquemedia, I think your website is in dire need of numerous disclaimers stating that certain projects never saw the light of day. I get this funny feeling that people probably think many of your packaging ideas were actually produced, and between the tiny font you use and the hyperbolic gibberish it's hard to tell if you ever state that the work is "just ideas" or that they are only computer mockups. Which is all well and good, but if none of that stuff was ever produced, I feel like you should plainly state it as such.

I worked on the entire Xbox One launch - banner ads, CLE's, concepts, and yes - this work was used and approved (the other 8-10 personas the entire team came up with were killed at the last moment).

As for my packaging, I'm trying to sell an "idea", it's alot harder than you think it is... Still waiting on patent verdicts. If you've ever tried to patent something, it isn't easy. Nothing worth doing ever is.

It's funny, because the big shot Creative Director on this work hates Xbox and is a big Playstation fan (as am I)... I'll be buying a PS4. More powerful graphics, and not a 24/7 spy machine (recording your every move and action) - regardless of who pays me, I'm entitled to my own opinions as they do not own my soul.
