Mavricks window across screens

Hi All,
Just updated to 10.9 and found a strange flaw. I can no longer have a window span across two screens. it shows a faded out half of the window when dragging, but when I release, it only shows half the window.
Anyone else seeing that? any chance of a workaround?

what about if you drag it all the way to the other window? It still doesn't show the window?

I've got Bootcamp installed with a bunch of stuff on my windows partition.
Does upgrading to Mavericks do anything to my bootcamp partition?

I just restarted and now it works like before,
hmmm.
I also don't have the faded out menubars, maybe just buggy.

It's that option mentioned in Centigrades link and requires a logout
