I've been travelling for a year and a half, now needing to get back into the London scene. I managed to find some time to put a basic thing together, but I'm thinking I need to get it right before I start chatting to recruiters etc.

Please, let me know what you think of both the site and the content. Suggestions welcome, feel free to completely trash my work- I need some criticism, not pandering.

I was thinking of putting a carousel or gallery of my favourites at the top, but I also like it nice and simple like this. Thoughts?

Also... please tell me your top five. All works are currently in Design, the categories are just refined.

    fire away, boys!

Be selective, show only the work you're most proud of, and work that you'd happily do again.
From what I can see you'd most likely get hired to create web banners/ads at the moment based on your folio content. If that's what you're happy with then fine.

Remember that those animated banners won't show on iphones/ipads at the moment

yep - as above. And too much of one client.

    • worked for that client for the last three years, so it's pretty hard to vary clients. Suggestions on what to remove?Projectile

is there a youtube/vimeo video you can embed with the VIAGOGO branding happening on the perimeter animation board? that might be nicer to see. mockup those posters in reality? might bring that whole project together and look "bigger."

icons might present better one at a time, with transparency...little slideshow?

    maybe ditch the emails?

    mockup that door hanger!

    closeups of the map?

illustration is a bit left field

drinkaware illus. are awesome! make 'em bigger, add transparency?

fly on the wall - lead with a finished picture maybe?

actual pictures/mockups of business cards & posters? it's hard to tell what they are without reading. personally, i hate having to read portfolios.

group all that viagogo stuff together so it looks like one huge branding/campaign project.

don't know how useful it is separating design/illustration/animation when i see a lot of the same stuff

    yeah!

    nice work!
