Quark to Indesign CS6 help

  I don't have quark, but have been given quark files (qxd). Is there anything I can do to import into indesign?

  I've asked the individual who created the files if he can help and he has stated he cannot. Any help would be appreciated.

  I loved the simple, stable and elegant Quark till 3.34 or whatever it was before 4.0 and the later versions which were crash-o-matic....
