Looking for a simple (ideally free) program to edit PDF's that have security/password.
I just need to add notes/comments and would prefer not to have to go back to clients.
Funny that I can use GoodReader on my iPad, but can't use Acrobat. Annoying, really.
If you could edit them, the security/password would be pointless.
I need to make notes.
Password doesn't stop GoodReader from adding notes, it would just be tedious to do it all on an iPad
So you aren't really editing them then, just adding notes. Print it out and write on it?
can't you add notes with Preview?
I should have put "PDF Notes", not Editing...
It won't let me add anything - no comments, highlights, etc. Though, in GoodReader, I can add all those.
I would print, but it is a few hundred pages...that's a lot of scanning to get it back into an email
I know you don't want to ask the client, but you might have to, especially if your "Notes" are essential to them.
