iam working at a large coast to coast public company with twosands of employees and we're on Gmail since less than a year. When Gmail is down, let me tell you much wow fuckup happend and people getting mad and all. Thats what happend when we rely on web based companies.

I am actually considering getting of Gmail to something like FastMail. Not because of this downtime, I didn't even noticed it, but because I'm really getting tired of Google. Not in a "I-don't-want-to-have-nothing-wi... way, more like I'm simply starting to dislike them.. Anyone made the switch?

the reply feature doesn't offend me as much as the popup compose window does, i hate that thing.

OK to be fair they were originally rolled out half a year ago, but like a lot of people I just clicked "Revert back" and foolishly assumed they would let me keep that option.
What's annoying about the Reply is that it only gives you 130px of vertical space to write a reply, and all the functionality (even the address you are sending under if you have multiple addresses) is hidden by default.
