Dear gents,
Is there a better option for Trajan? Client loves it but I want to propose and use a better font that maintains the 'look' and has similar characteristics... I know...

I've used Minister EF before in its place because lowercase / italic was needed.

There's Marcellus Pro too, just one weight though. Comes with small caps, alternates, and a few other extras.

Nice. Thanks albums. I am also looking for a Trajan alternative that's more 'geometric and slick' - (not my words)

Mantinia. It's got the engraved vibe, and also has some awesome unique ligatures...

Another question... is there a semi-slab font that comes close to this? Looking for a more 'squared' version of it...
Similar to Lavigne:

Mercury Display looks stately but contemporary in spaced capitals. It has unbracketed serifs some of which are more wedge-shaped. So it's almost a slab. And it's way better than Trajan.
Same thing with Glosa Display.
If the client is a stickler for Trajan, you could just show them every other movie poster created since 1998.

One last favor! Does anyone have MERCURY from H&FJ? I just need 7 letters to present... please?
