Maybe people are just drinking better beer so they can't afford to just throw them down like they used to.

Maybe the beer this statistic is based on is measured by is that crappy fizzy stuff produced by the big three and their numbers are surely going down due to the rising number of crafty brewed beers that are now available. If I look around here in the city the beer consumption is going nowhere but up.

Living so close to the Stone Brewery has turned me into a daily beer drinker. In fact, there are many local breweries to appreciate. I do enjoy a decent scotch or bourbon now and again though.
