2 old pre osX macs - hard drives lasted 5 years - probably still run ok if i tried to boot the one i still have up.
7 x windows PCs / laptops (better spec/less money) - no failed hard drives.
2 x post osX macs - 2 failed hard drives.
Numerous friends with failed hard drives on MacBooks under 2 years old.
A brand that prides itself on quality (well surface anyway) seems to be losing that quality. Thoughts anyone?
Is it because of the quantity they sell nowadays?
I'm not an Apple hater (aside from their hideous arrogant ad campaigns and blatant lies to non savvy consumers) - used them my whole adult life.
Selling a lie could be their downfall - brand values that may no longer exist in reality. Just thinking out loud here.
    NOT TROLLING.

    • maybe it's just a decline in parts quality, a fault of the drive manufacturers keeping prices down?monospaced
