"Spending a whole year completely free of the internet is probably unimaginable to most. From computers to tablets to phones, accessing the internet has never been easier. So imagine the difficulties faced by Paul Miller, a technology writer for The Verge, when he decided to unplug himself for a year. Starting April 30, 2012 at 11:59PM, Miller unplugged all the cables, shut off his Wi-Fi, downgraded to a “dumb” phone and proceeded to discover life without the internet. His goal was to “...find the real Paul, far away from all the noise, and become a better me.” We won’t tell you how this story ends but suffice it to say, his conclusions about the internet were not quite as expected." - The Verge
Let's do this!... I'd last about 30 mins.

That'd be tough. Can't imagine spending money on porno magazines to satisfy my need for beautiful boobies.

The internet is really not the issue. It's taking your real life and replacing it with online "experiences" that is the issue.
