My fiance and I are preparing our wedding invitations and are torn between letting someone else print these or buying nice stock and doing the whole thing from home.
My question really goes against all that we know (because I'm looking for good and cheap) and for a reference, most letterpresses are out of our price range.
Who would you recommend to print these at a decent price and on some heavy stock? Most of the really cheap options only offer about 80lb-90lb. stock.

i would look for a smaller print shop that does 2-3 color in your area. I have one here in San Diego that I send 2 color jobs to and i usually supply the paper. It can be a really cheap option if you find the right place. Also, ganging up the job on a larger sheet (11x17 or something, helps save you money by running everything at once.
I'm talking less than a couple hundred dollars for a 2 color job with a run of around 100 sheets.
