anyone know any guides for day to day studio management? something that deals with archiving, signoffs, how projects are setup, catalogued and stored?

if it outgrows you, standard practice is to hire a project manager (even if only for 2 or 3 days a week)

random thoughts;
- make an folder structure your happy with and stick to it, then make all employees and freelances stick to it as well.
- name everything properly
- pay people fairly and on time
- hire a bookkeeper

- version and iterate... always save working files with a _v001..._v002 etc..
- always date output folders

I seriously doubt there is standard best practice for this.
We are not accountants after all.
Just make it all logical and consistent and make everyone stick to it.
