Jquery Show/Hide Q

I am using the following:
http://papermashup.com/simple-jq…for showing/hiding divs on a form.
It is hiding optional input fields (add another author info) and I didn't want all show/hide links visible at the start.
So if someone clicks to 'add another author' the form fields show in that div are shown, and at that point the link to the next div to open now becomes visible.
Anyone know the best way to go about this?

It's not entirely clear without a link to the example, but stabbing in the dark, is the problem is that you're seeing something when the page loads that you want hidden, then I'd look in your css for that element's class to have display: none in it.. The jQuery will 'toggle' between the two states, display: none;, and display: block/inline - just make sure the state you want is set from the start.

It's more a case of don't display the next toggle link unless the previous one was triggered. So if there are 3 hidden divs, we can't see the link for #2 until #1 has been triggered, and we can't see the link to show #3 unless #1 and #2 were already triggered.
