    I'm curious:

When you go to Apple or Target or a store like that, the music they play in store is obviously a carefully chosen mixtape.

Do they have to license the songs? How often do they change it? How many songs do you think they have in one day?

Yes, I would assume they would have pay royalties to record labels.

I'd say the frequency of change would be dictated by the shop, younger more fashionable shops would most likely change more frequently to appeal to their customers. Escept at chirstmas when every fucking place plays the same 20 songs, over and over and over.

If its anything like my itunes shuffle, probably only about 10 songs and it tries to convince me it random. YOU'RE NOT FOOLING ANYBODY ITUNES
