I started using CS6 this week and the one thing that bugs me is the upper menu bar. It floats with a solid background so you can't see your desktop. Is there anyway to lock the menu bar to the top and remove the background?
Hope that makes sense

ditto
- It's like it's locked into some screen mode. Full screen is grayed out. So weird.monospaced

Finally getting around to upgrading from CS3 tonight. I have CS 5 on my work PC, and like it better than 3. Didn't ever want to upgrade because the price is around $600. I guess I never thought about just upgrading PS, but $199 is a bit better. I use it 95% of the time anyways.
- $30/monthmonospaced
- That's $360 a year for a ton of features I will never use. It's not for everyone.mg33

debating on going legit and getting the introductory rate ($30 a month for a year for all apps).
Need to unblock the adobe servers though so I can d/l the trials :o

Mac or PC?
If it's mac then Window > Application Bar probably fixes it

^^ Yup, that did it for me, thanks! I hated that too, was a pain trying to get used to.

that crop tool is still messing me up, even when i select the classic option.

anyone had vector masks and effects disconnecting from their layers and other rendering glitches that make using it for serious work almost impossible.

- not just my machine, I'm experiencing it on 2 different configsanimatedgif

Gotta say, PS6 totally smokes PS3 on my Macbook Pro. I've got a 2011 on with an SSD and I notice the speed increase immediately when running actions on full size RAW images.
