an architect working in AutoCAD is asking for a logo in .dwg format.
i can export from illustrator, but when i open the dwg file in illustrator again it has added a black stroke to the logo (even tho it's 0pt) - makes me a little nervous.... this normal? - just illustrator not dealing with dwg's properly?

says on the adobe site: "By default, white strokes or fills in Illustrator artwork are exported to the AutoCAD formats as black strokes or fills; and black strokes or fills in Illustrator are exported to the AutoCAD format as white."
weird!?

AutCAD has a dark background/canvass by default. if you want you can send it to me and i'll send you a screenshot of how it looks.
- or you can download the free DWG Viewer and do test-prints...sine

there's also this: https://www.autocadws.com/
but i haven't used it...- thanks.indian_pole
- basically you need to invert your black to white... which prints as black from a .dwgsine
- < that sounds confusing. just export and test. i believe you can make changes in autocad ws as well if you need to change lineweight, etc.sine
