So I don't use flash...
I have a client who has sent me some .swf files as when they open them or look at them in a browser they autosize to the width of the browser...
I told them and FS Command would stop this...
I don't actually think it is called this anymore in Flash...
What is the best thing to do so that the files are 100% when opened?
Thanks

put them in a html with a div container with some width.

Yep - that bit I know...
Essentially when the raw .swfs come over for client sign off - they shit themselves when they 'blow up'...
Can you put some action script in there to make it stay 100%
Thanks

Stage.scaleMode = "noScale";
still no worky

I don't think you can do that. you have to embed the swf in html, or tell them to view the swfs in a standalone player:

first frame:
fscommand("fullscreen", "true");
fscommand("allowscale", "true");

oh I think I misunderstood. you just need to give it a size in the embed. Don't let them open the swf in a browser. send them a link with it embedded at a certain size.

I have put them on an html page to show the client...
Im sure you used to be able to stop it from expanding in a browser...
Ah well...
Much appreciated advice though guys

if you want them to view it without a browser, just make it a projector
