Custom Hangtag Ideas

So i have to produce about 300 custom hangtags for a collectors edition bike frameset coming out. The frame and fork are chrome plated and come in a white box which is nicely designed. I am having a hard time coming up with ideas as to what I could do to hand do these hangtags. There are only 300 total, so the thought of printing them is not what I want to do. My first thought was to do matte medium transfers on some metal pieces (about 2" x 3.5") but i don't want the metal to rub against the frame and cause scratches.
I am feeling like my only option is something with paper but it's the way i produce it that is making me feel stuck. I want the hand-made feel without it looking so shabby-chic-ish. It needs to look industrial but still be known that there was some form of hand touch.
Anyone with any thoughts or ideas?

maybe a custom hole punch
like a star or square or heart or teardrop shape if circles are too boring

That is a good idea. I would rather it be white, but I guess I can look for something like that in white. Stamp is pretty good too. One side will most likely be the logo and the other will probably have about 5 words saying congratulations on your purchase type of thing.
- White chipboard then

that white may work. Even though it is only on one side, I can have that facing out with the logo and the kraft side can have the stamp with the copy. Hmmmm, I will propose this tomorrow. could be good. Thanks albums.
