Gallery of Mo are looking for artists to help out with a project we’ve got running this October and November time for Movember (Prostate and Testicular Cancer Charities).
We started it last year and were shocked by its success. To encourage donations to our Movember team we offered to illustrate everyone who donated with the addition of a moustache.
Last year we managed to raise over £5000 and illustrated 189 portraits with just 20 artists on board. Because we did so well the actual Movember team got in touch with us and this year have requested we do the project on a more national scale with their helps and support. They’ve also offered to set up a launch party and exhibition in Leeds (U.K) showing off the work we produce and the artists who take part.

You can do as little or as many portraits you like and in any medium or style you want. We’ve launched a microsite this year to get artists signing up and offering to help. We’ve started early because we know how busy people can get during the end of the year.
