It's quite likely not a font at all. What is the source?
You'll have to pick the aspects that are most important to you and go for the font that meets those.

The type is on a bronze plaque within an old church. A client sent it with a request that his new logo contain this font. Yes, I was afraid it may be an amalgamation of various typefaces, as well as custom handtooled to some degree. I'm glad to hear I'm not missing an obvious choice here. Thanks for the great advice and yeh, that Windsor face is pretty darn close. That "E" and "L" are right on. I knew I could count on the brilliant minds at QBN. I thought about just using Trajan. Always a crowd pleaser =]
