Updates?

  So, I am getting sick of the fact nearly every time I want to work, I get interrupted to update this or that software on my Mac.

  Is there any way to set this up so it's done in the middle of the night, and it doesn't fuck with my work time?

  If it is official apple updates, you do have a preference pane to schedule your updates. All the others, should have similar functionality.
