The PS3 and 360 are near death. Most console generations last 5 years, we're like 7 years into this now and not a lot of real exciting games coming. Time for new consoles now. At least Nintendo realized this.

I'm feeling the void that comes during the transition to a next-gen. MS only had Halo 4 and a trailer for a new Gears of War game that was only CG, no gameplay shown.
Rockstar usually skips E3 so no Grand Theft Auto V footage.
Most big studios are more than likely already working on next-gen dev kits from at least Microsoft, and that would explain the lack of titles.

Last of Us - looks like an instant classic. Naughty Dog must have some insane talent working for them right now.
Sony/MS conferences were pretty lackluster though.. no surprises... get the feeling they are holding off to see how Nintendo's new console fairs. No use in making mistakes again and getting trumped by some controller they didn't foresee.

All that wonder book stuff, looks like a cash grab with Harry potter branding slapped all over it. None of it looked like it had any point. But, it's for the kiddies, so maybe it doesn't need one.

GoW:A, Watch_dogs, and The Last of Us all look like the best of the best so far.

The only 2 things that stood out to me were Star Wars 1313, and Halo 4 which looks to have some Metroid Prime influences now.
Another AssCreed game, another CoD, a game that looks identical to Uncharted, some Heavy Rain (dullsauce) styled game. This E3 sucks so far because these systems are so old now and many dev's are working on next gen games, so there just isnt much going on right now.
Nintendo though is making its move now so this conference is in their hands right now. They could knock this out of the park if they have some great Wii U and 3DS games to show and then just watch the money fucking pile up. They'll be using 100 dollar bills as toilet paper once the Wii U comes out due to how fucking dull the PS3 and 360 are right now.
- Yea but I don't see Wii users as hard core camera like PS & Xbox users. Just won't be the sameiheartfun
