Driving on the BQE the other day, couple Ruff Rider types on GSX-R's came up out of nowhere catching up to stand-still traffic pulling wheelies at probably 80 mph, jerking down on their front wheels right behind the stopped cars, then proceeding to gas it full throttle between lanes weaving in and out of the stopped cars like a slalom race. WTF man, death wish, sooner or later. And the sad part is they will probably kill someone else too.

Think the statistics for Cycling/Motorcycle fatality are right up there with dying from Base Jumping/Skydiving.
Done Skydiving, and cycle to work. Really... it's up to the blind/drunk/handicapped/road raged individuals on the road that are coming up behind us. When you get on the road, you're forfeiting your safety. Bottom line.
