mac drawing software question

    First, let me clarify I have Adobe Illustrator, InDesign as well as AutoDesk SketchBook Pro. Second, if the software/application I describe below does exist and I'm somehow oblivious...please be gentle.

    My question/interest is if there is software that would allow both journal-like typing (similar to a basic Microsoft Word doc.) as well as the ability to sketch right in/on the same page. And this would all be archived in a "notebook" that you could flip through the pages.

    [I work mostly on a MAC laptop and tower with minimal iPad usage. So ideally, I'm interested in software for OSX desktop.]

    CorelDraw. It's like InDesign / Quark / Illustrator all in one.

    It can handle the typing & illustration on any page. Easy to add multiple pages to a single document. It's also easy to export to a pdf, not sure exactly what you mean by "notebook". If you need an actual book, upload it to blurb or print it?
