Don't work in AE but doing some basic animation for a project. I have a Illustrator file that I have imported. When I place it in the timeline and scale it, it gets very choppy. I thought you could scale an AI file in AE and keep its crispiness?

check continually rasterize on - its the little icon near your layer apply modes drop downs

This is probably the most asked AE question of all time and the answer is the "continually rasterize" button.
