Does anyone know how ordering works through a printshop?
Once you choose a stock cover (and you're pretty sure about it) what's the process afterward?

Sorry... I should be more clear:
So the printer has sent us the "dummy" cover and leaves, and proof (separately) ... BUT my client is having second thoughts on the cover stock that they chose... the printer said "too bad, its already been ordered/paid for."
I was kind of surprised... is that the protocol? I thought that a little time would lapse on an order like that (8,000)
- the stock was not what i would have chosen, but i didn't want to push back too hard.ohhhhhsnap

Sounds like someone told the printer that the stock was a final choice and so they ordered enough to cover an 8,000 run. Sounds like the client did the choosing and the okaying as well.
- i think they did. damn. thanks for the info mono. are you both web and print btw?ohhhhhsnap
