They're good and different, but why are so many white 12 year olds into this? Seems like a weird fan base.

Name one 12 year old who listens to this

well'p, why don't you... ask a black dude:
"everybody wants to be a n**** but no body wants to be a n****"

Odd Future is dope. I am not a white 12 year old. I am white 28 year old. Golf wang.

Yeah what up with 12 years olds digging on music made by 16 year olds. That's so whack.

I'm a 37 year black dude from Ldn... I've digging their for a long while now. Hate if you want but these "kids" have imagination, talent in a way that make me jealous... At there age, i was pretty doing every thing they did... skated, got fucked up, dirty banging chicks, hanging out with friends, skating, watching crazy ass porn and horror films (apart from make music video, making beats and spitting) but they are making buckets of cash and getting free shit.
Props from me!

Odd Future has a huge group of kid fans, because seriously, who else would "kill people burn shit fuck school" appeal to?
They started off as a really interesting phenomenon to me, upon first seeing the Earl video. By the time Goblin came out, though, they already seemed less like a good rap crew and more like a musicial flash mob. Cosign removed.

I thought this was going to be a Numbers Guy thread.

kids these days.
nah i dig it. the yonkers video was insane. they're hit or miss on what's good and what is forgettable, but i have to respect them for not giving a shit about anyone / anything and completely doing it their way. making up for the lack of legit punk bands in the mainstream audience these days.
could do without the homophobia / aggression against women, but pushing the boundaries of social acceptance is i guess what bored kids are for.

Heavy Pitchfork hype = love from white audience. They could put the most filthy, vile rap group on the radar at that site, and the result would probably always be the same.
They also played at Pitchfork festival in Chicago last year. What race listens to what music shouldn't matter... but freshdude asked and that's as likely a reason as any.

I like them (34 yrs old) but I advise you to not follow Tyler on Twitter. Such a pile of crap to grab attention, tweets every 30 seconds, and in all caps.

I like that they made upside-down crosses cool again. Except now they are fashion instead of anti-Christian, which is very unfortunate. Oh well, at least it still pisses some people off...
