Printer steals your work?

Just a random thought.
When you send high res and vector art to a printer, do you ever worry that they'll steal it for some reason, or someone will use it for something?

Not to sound crazy, but the real concern is them stealing the relationship with your client. I actually had a printer contact my client using the information on the business card I had sent them to get a quote on. Cut out the middle man. Client direct to printer.
I lost it on them.

Printer once asked my office for a low-res PDF for visual. Sent across at 72 dpi, no bleed. The fucker printed it full size, and added bleed by stretching the edges - then messed up the trim so you could see it. Professionals Only®™✔
