Happy Friday everyone

I did ask questions. I asked if your work was self-initiated (which is fine if it is), but never got a clear answer. Here are some more...
You designed the AND1 Mixed Tape Tour logo?
What's with the two redundant TIMEX logos on the Logos page? (The manner in which you display the work screams "amateur").
Do you buy vectors from iStockphoto and just plaster them all over the national brand logos? It's obvious you didn't illustrate any of those.
Lot's of odd behavior and inconsistent styles & capabilities are shown on this website. I don't know what to make of it. On the logos page, the "Rookie of the Year" logo is shown very pixelated in the horizontal preview box. How can a legit designer display their work so sloppily like that?... especially one working on such high-profile projects. Do you not have access to the original vector or hi-res logo? Did you really make that logo?
If you're really working for these clients, you're not making it believable. Your bad presentation makes it suspicious.

I am sorry if my presentation is not up to par with your liking.
The NFL ROTY logo i created in vector and then i rendered it in photoshop then was made into a hires piece of film which was then molded into a piece of Steuben Chrystal and made into the trophy which was then awarded to Jeremy Shockey of the NY Giants.
Maybe i should include all of this on the site. My site is obviously a work in progess.
I never use stock vector crap. ALL OF THE logo explorations have been created by hand by ME. I have been doing this long before you can download free shit and use it.
- actually you should include all of that on the site.dbloc

your site lacks direction.
There is way too much going on, between having two different designers work next to each other, too much work displayed between the both of you. I have to read too much before clicking around finally finding the work. You try to sell yourself as a capable freelancer through a client login page, but the resume says "hey I'm looking for a job", and then there is photography work thrown into the mix.
Limit it to 8-10 of the best pieces. Learn how to present it better. These pieces should be the first thing someone sees when they are on your front page. Figure out EXACTLY whom you are targeting and the purpose of the portfolio. Rarely is anyone going to think to himself "hmm I'd like to find someone to take pictures of my kid and design a wrap for my nascar car, oh and I'm going to hand their resume off to someone else to hire him for a full-time job". A photog savvy designer is definitely a plus but you either need to have a completely standalone photog portfolio or simply just link to your flickr or tumblr. Never combine the two.
- <---Awesome! thank you. This pretty much sums up all of my issues on how to tie all of this together. :-) What do you think about a separate photo site????MKD
