The politician's basically cooked the nations books and put the hole country into a shit storm, maybe the next job for the lawyers is to take a long hard look at there activities and put them all in prison, it's hard to get your head around how a small minority with allot of power can destroy a country. Fuck you, pay Me.

there has been lots of talk about why Ireland, which is going through austerity measures, isn't also burning itself to the ground.
on the one hand it is due to the Irish approach of getting on with things and many people knowing it was even worse not so long ago - before the boom.
I think another issue is that tax evasion wasn't endemic in ireland (outside of the wealthy and political elite) so the kind of cultural adjustments required by austerity aren't as deep.

it's hard to run a country when nobody pays taxes

"We have finally found out that you have to pay back what you have borrowed." said a Greek lawmaker.
Whoever said that is practically a thieve and thinks the general public is stupid.

People are just happy that the finger is being pointed at Greece for now. The other lunatics havent yet figured, that the smell of shit is still in the air because it is on their faces too.

Wait until the EU realise none of the countries they threw cash at for ten years can pay it back. That day is going to be interesting.

I don't see how they're levelling the playing field.
Who's going to pay for all of the damage to their infrastructure? They will. Kind of cutting off their nose to spite their face.
