Im in the market for a new printer, something I'll be using to print illustration work on high quality paper/card (possible textured) no bigger than A4.
Just wondering if anyone has any recommendations or models I should consider?
Looking to spend no more than £100 ( unless there's a particularly good model for £109 or something.)
I'm looking into selling original prints of my work, is there anyone else here who does this? what are you using?thanks

Can anyone recommend a good/small printer on the market right now that I could pick up from BestBuy (say?)
Just need a little guy @ home, to print out sample pages for the book that I'm designing.

- un... and in "little guy" i mean just a simple printer that'll run off b/w and color prints quickly.ohhhhhsnap

I've got one of these and it's great. Cheap to buy but like all inkjets, not so cheap to run. I liked it simply because it was a printer and not a combined fax, scanner, PA, coffee machine etc.
- you Mr. T (sweet handle) are right on the money. thank you.ohhhhhsnap

I have an epson stylus photo r1800 for bigger jobs, its pretty good!
I got it several years ago so I'm sure they have an even more current model, but mine still prints great quality. Pretty much any type of paper I stick in there, 13 inches wide by unlimited long.I've made books and printed friends illustrations using it, both of which came out perfect quality.
- Only negative is that it was about $600 a few years agobananana
- whoah... yes that might be out of my range right now.ohhhhhsnap

I currently have an Epson R2400, used to have an R1800, but the R1800 tended to jam, print blanks, or just sit there blinking for a while and then print half a page.... when it worked, it was great!
for the R1800, I renamed it..
Epson = Eventually Printing Something Or Nothing...I had a Canon 9500, it was great, but pricey....

purchased the hp deskjet 3000 (WiFi) for 69.00 USD is actually pretty good for a simple printer to do small jobs (proofing, letters...)
and i'm surprised at how ink has gone down significantly. i wonder why.
