AAPL is kicking so much ass, despite everyone claiming their multiple failures this year (and quarter). Up another 8% this week after earnings and targets raised another 25%. Incredibly, they're still a "buy" at this price.
- depends on your slant, if you have the money to buy it at that price. It's like Google.panacea
- an investment is an investment, and it's all about %s, so the price is entirely irrelevantmonospaced
- if you-re saying you're too cheap to buy even a single share of $400+ stock, then you're really not for thismonospaced

I'm looking at Brazil. That country is booming and will continue to boom for the next 50 years, if you ask me. They don't regulate their energy programs.

GGB - Gerdau S.A. - Steel company.
PBR - Petroleo Brasileiro S.A., known as Petrobras - Oil & Gas company that does everything in the industry.
PZE - Petrobras Energia Participaciones S.A. - Does Oil & Gas, but big into chemicals as well.
UGP - Ultrapar, distributes liquefied petroleum gas.I have stock in a few energy companies there and they are doing well and I feel they are stable. I don't trust tech companies in the USA, regardless of the success of the big ones, Apple, Google., etc.

I have a mutual fund in health sciences that has been blowing up the last 5 years and looks to perform well as the baby-boomers continue to age and require more care. Something like 75% gains in the last 6 years and a great rating. So, look into health technologies (genetics, pharma, research ,cancer, etc).
- sounds like sound advice, shit I'm still reaping benefits from Macromedia's sale to Adobepanacea
- health is globalizing too, so looking into capital investments overseas in this area is also good... China's HUGEmonospaced

Any penny stock anyone recommends or anything under $10. I still look at Sirius Radio. I think it should be a $4-5 dollar stock at least.

If you have the money AAPL is probably still good for the long term.
