I hate this fucking thing. Worst laptop ive ever owned. Firefox is unusable due to it being so horribly slow, and Safari is crashing constantly. Tried reinstalling both, same issues eventually come back.
What's next in the line of wonderful mac web browsers that I should try out? Preferably something that works.

Clear the hard drive and install Windows7. Give the finger to the sluggish Mac OS.
Also I heard you can use Internet explorer in Windows. Some people say it is even better than Netscape!
- I would really not want to do this myself.CygnusZero4
- Maybe I can find someone more knowledgeable with Macs to do this for me.CygnusZero4
- sarcasm anyone?maikel

Are there any toolbars installed?
Are you running Adobe Bridge, Photoshop and Illy at the same time, without enough RAM?I use Camino on my old macs... fast and lightweight, and I don't install flash player
- No bridge and no toolbars. Sometimes when it would crash I would get a Flash error.CygnusZero4
- Talking about Safari here.CygnusZero4

I'd say OS X lion is the crappest product Apple have released for years.
but...
Chrome all the way. Works a treat no matter what.
Firefox is slow, been that way for a while now.
Safari is a crashing dog since lion. Avoid.

Im using Chrome now. Seems fine, but ill see how it does over time. They all seem fine when they're first installed then eventually die.

flashblock, or similar plug-in, so you only have flash load when you want it to, not all those ads with buggy scripts eating RAM and pinging some server somewhere....

Have you applied all updates? Is Firefox up to date? I have never had Safari crash, ever. Something is wrong wth your machine or the way you have your browsers set up.
Create a new user account, try Firefox and Safari in that account, if they are OK then something is wrong with your account. Try disabling all add-ons and trash preferences as suggested above.
