Daft question...
I have an idea for an iPhone app...
It's brilliant...
So I need a developer to make it happen...
What's stopping them stealing the idea once I tell them what it is?
NDA seems abit pointless to me...

NDA and contract.
- of course, if you happen to absolutely need a developer.panacea

Okay, assuming your idea is really that good...
Look for a developer that has real world examples. If they didn't steal those, they should be trustworthy, no?

whats the app?
i wont steal it....

are you sure that you need a developer?

Independent Developers
Virtually every business should have a native mobile app (or several), but making apps is expensive and time consuming. Most businesses can’t afford to take the risk when there’s no guarantee on app return. Red Foundry solves this by enabling anyone to build beautiful, complete mobile apps regardless of design or technical skill.Even better, it costs nothing to build an app, and you can test it live on your device before committing to release it to the App Store. Only when you release it to the App Store do you have to pay. And with prices starting as low as FREE, it’s easy for anybody to afford a beautiful, native mobile app.
After you publish your app, you’ll find there’s much more to Red Foundry than an amazing app builder. Detailed analytics give you the power to understand and improve performance. Fully integrated push notifications enable you to strengthen customer relationships and drive activity. Content management tools enable easy management of your data. It’s all there, just waiting for you.

panacea..have you ever messed around with red foundry?
- yes, however, I should state on a amateur level. Essentially, I used to to transfer a static website into an iPhone app.panacea
- was extremely weak and just listed a client's RSS Feed and website contact. Redundant of mobile site for them.panacea
- did it seem easy enough to do basic stuff?dbloc
- very easy to do the basic stuff. You can import or add HTML / CSS into their system.panacea

^ you can get it going very quickly and it's easy to use. It's SaaS for iPhone apps. Strange, but it's easy to use and cheap.

Definitely can pull in your RSS Feeds and display them, etc. Basic, depends on what you want to do guys.

Although I would imagine if the app was "brilliant" it would be more than just a webpage stuck in an app container
- panacea0
you are probably correct, again, depends on what the absolute requirements are behind it.

speaking of apps. The government should force phone companies to install an app for the emergency alert system. That last test didn't go over to well.
- something that will alert all phones in the event of an emergency.dbloc
- Japan already has this system in place, it's built into phones and I believe will be built into the latest iphones therefore.animatedgif
