Wait a little bit.

do the monthly plan.
- monolith0
Monthly plan looks great for freelancers and small agencies
- over $100/mo if you use more than 3 apps, 30% more if you go monthly. not that greatmonospaced

well considering people use basecamp for $50-150 a month, I'd say having the tools that make you money for $100 a month is pretty great.

Apparently you can bargain the subsciption plans down dramatically if you know what to say. Unfortunately I wasn't in the office when the boss did, but he told me he managed to get the Master Collection for $70/month.

The subscription service is no active right now for the time being because they will be shifting to Adobe Cloud that will offer software subscription, cloud storage and a few other things all for one monthly subscription.
- Amicus0
This is what monolith was talking about
"Adobe has discontinued new subscriptions to suite editions of Creative Suite to focus efforts on delivering the new Adobe Creative Cloud™ subscription offering in the first half of 2012. Creative Cloud will give you access to all CS applications, plus Adobe Touch Apps, services, and more, starting at an affordable monthly price."
Sounds like a BS reason. Why stop selling something while you develop it's replacement. Something else is going on – maybe there service has security flaws or just the usual Adobe bugginess.
For a while there I had to fiddle around with the subscription shit every time I opened up an Adobe App.

Make friend with people who works at adobe. and ask them to buy it for you. They get more than 50% off.

CS6 will be out soon, 5.5 was a fucking shambles rushed out in reaction to the App Store.
- what exactly was in shambles? CS 5.5 was a big update for mobile developers.monolith
- shambles because it should have just been a free point release.animatedgif

Flash / WIndows 7 CS5.5 has some odddball interface bugs that are driving me crazy.... also Photoshop CS 5.5 takes a while to switch interface bits when you switch brushes, messes up the fluid workflow..... and I've got tons of RAM, dual-core, etc.... I could update my video card, but CS4 didn't do this....

The thing that me laugh was Indesign CC5.5 not being able to open Indesign CS5 documents, that is juts taking the piss.
- could be why the cloud stuff is delayed,.... having to make sure a LOT of stuff works rightvaxorcist

Wire £300 to and I'll send you a link to a fully licensed copy of Adobe CS6

Look at Amazon regularly.
I picked up Production Premium for $859 back in November.
Prices change all the time:http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_s…
You could purchase a license from someone, but be careful. There's a procedure you have to go through in order for the license to be transferred.

I hear you can pick it up by trading for an ffffound invite

I've always bought software from CS2, CS3 and now CS4
3 copies in total...Part of me wants to be a pirate like everyone else but then I've spiked severe cash in the past...
Although saying that, when I purchased 3 CS3 to CS4 upgrades, they sent me the FULL version and not the upgrade...
Maybe I should just sell my 3 CS 3 upgrades and put that ash to upgrading to CS6 as they are doing a deal...
