That's what I get. FF 5, Crhome 16.0.912.63Again, fine for experimenting, but for real world use, you can't expect people to upgrade browsers (I don't, too many, too much of a headache).
I agree this is not a good example of why HTML5 is "great" and an example of why it might have some "cool" possibilities, but until it is supported on your average computer, it isn't much help.

People still use Firefox?
Thought everyone had decided FF was the new IE
- What's the alternative, GoogleSpyWare?i_monk

iPad is a no go apparently.
- Loads but doesn't acknowledge touch as the cursor.tymeframe
- Could be easily with the right code. This is mostly an IE demo.animatedgif

Don't they already have apps for the iPhone? So they probably have one for the iPad too then...

hey formed, you actually CAN expect people to upgrade browsers because it's an incredibly simple thing to do and it's the only way to support the new technologies
- why would you support new technologies? because everybody else is doing it.ok sheep.jadrian_uk
- upgrade ≠ switchi_monk
- ok, if you say so, but I know my friends and colleagues won't, nor will my clientsformed
- perhaps eventually, but to expect someone to upgrade to view, noformed
- yep..it only took them 10 years to upgrade from IE6.monolith
