Am stuck on skyrim with a glitch that appears cannot be solved only by going back to a previously saved part in the game which means losing hours of gameplay n work, anyone know anyway to get past this one!? is killing me.

Q Season Unending/Joining the Stormcloaks: Starting Season Unending, then progressing Joining the Stormcloaks can cause both Season Unending and Joining the Stormcloaks to reach a state where it can’t continue either one.
A If the player starts Season Unending and gets to a point where they’ve gotten one side to agree to the peace treaty, then progresses the Joining the Stormcloaks quest, it is possible to get into a state where the player is unable to progress either questline. To resolve this issue, load a save prior to completing any of the Joining the Stormcloaks quest and progress the Season Unending quest instead.

google the possible solution, I had like 3-4 major bugs that stopped me from playing the game further...but I found solutions on google for them...I doubt you will find a proper answer at qbn about skyrim glitches...

i googled already and the answer was the above to resave to an earlier version, which i really don't wanna do will basically be like losing days worth of gameplay! thought i'd try here in case anyone knew anything, skyrim is a total nightmare i mean there are glitches which are fair enough in games but then a huge major glitch like this stopping you completing the whole game is not just a glitch!
- Gameplay doesn't matter seen as everything levels with you. It's all just pointlessanimatedgif

i remember on the snes.. secret of mana.. there was a part in the game if you crossed a certain path back and forth more than 3 times a wall was lifted and that path was closed locking you inside the market area.. the game developers made it so you had to completely restart the game from scratch because once the wall became active, it automatically saved on top of all your saves locking you inside that market.. i wonder if skyrim developers also placed some sort of auto lock feature that prevented you from continuing further.
- that would be so awesome!monospaced
- you dont even play it what do you give a shit??e-pill

Bethesda can't program for shit it seems, 4th game in using the engine and you'd think they'd have solved these problems.

I had some bugs but none that didn't let me advance. I play on PC, which normally is easier to resolve conflicts via console...

This is part of why I dont buy any Bethesda games. They cant figure out how to get a game to work right. With as many games as theyve built on this engine, they must have some piss poor programmers if they cant fix problems after 6+ years.
- Really not too much more time than it took to figure out to put a human on the f-ing moon!CygnusZero4

The main issue is that they don't seem to care about fixing problems with the engine or game and just expect modders to pick up the slack.
- Sure, that works great... on the PC.CygnusZero4
- Console players are fucked.CygnusZero4
