what if you incorporated the slash into the W (although I'm not so sure about the slash as a concept)

I do not quite understand why you want to use a slash.
Give the impression that you are two,;-P
I think it still further increases the vibration of the brand. The low tips of the "W" in futura, at that weight, have a difficult relationship with the roundness of the "G". Probably work to energize the "G" (not sure how) or try to soften the energy of the "W".
