I'm going to be creating an interactive exhibit for a museum and am looking for links to sites that have presented a historic story in an engaging way? Timelines, interactive maps, Flash animation etc..

heh, exactly what i've been doing this last year.
just finishing an irish language interpretive center now, we ran a timeline of irish language along the wall (about 80ft long) which corresponds to the cabinets and interactive bits (loosely 19th/ 20th century). the photographer is coming in on friday to do some decent snaps... all the interactive stuff is flash, 5 touch screens, and a few big screens with custom interfaces.
