Is there a way to do an angled text box in CS5, so that the copy wraps along say a 45 degree angle?
I know you can do it in Illustrator and Fireworks, just wondering about Photoshop.

draw out a spline using the pen tool. switch to type tool and click on the path. command click the circles on the path to define the outer left and outer right limits of the text

oops. now that i've properly read that you wanted an angled text box, the answer is no.

No you're right, that works. Exactly what I needed to know. Thanks.

Easier option.
Create text box, using type tool. Edit > Free Transform. Set angle to 45. Jobs a good'n

works with great with single lines, but blocks of text seems to be a no go. would be cool if once you define the spline, hitting return would give you another line in that shape.

^ Im doing it with a paragraph. Works fine in CS5. It's wrapping along the angle.
