If you are feeling embarrassment due to the wrinkles on your face and have tried several options with no results, try using a wrinkle cream. Choose the one which is made up of natural ingredients and enjoy the youthful days again.

Why only your partial folio?

this went well

I'm not spamming. I'm trying to start another thread because the last one was spammed by trashy comments.

Seriously, this comment was constructive and honest. http://www.qbn.com/topics/665626…
You must work on presenting yourself better. Put together a real portfolio with descriptions and titles; create a body of solid work that represents your abilities. Write a real resume with facts about your job history and education. A list of skills and a rambling of your visual hobbies and aspirations and efforts is just pathetic sounding.
Finally, posting this on QBN, a community of mostly industry designers and professionals, is literally asking for a critique. So, instead of whining about the negative response, look at how you can improve because between the lines we're trying to help you.

Step back and take a good look at what your listing on krop looks like. Posting the below as a portfolio entry is only hurting you. I don't think any potential client will look at that and think about hiring you (no offense). I'll rewrite the small copy here:
>August 30, 2003
>Wow, it's been a while since I've worked on this project.
>Mostly because I've been lazy (and grounded) sorta. My take here is that you're outdated, you're lazy, and you live with your parents and have behaved badly enough to be grounded. Let's hire this guy!
>Oh yea, you'll have to excuse the pointless arrows and vomit-colored
>green I chose for the layout. Personally, I'm getting sick of it.That's really selling it. So, before you go and call me a bully, stop giving me such a big reason to, ok?
- Stop posting my images.********
- Why? You already posted them along with your name looking for work.monospaced
- Stop posting my images.

That image was intended to show potential clients that I am capable of implementing a seemingly complex design and layout with coding. It's not just about the color and the feel. Yes, it's a bit ugly and off, but it still has its purpose. The scrollbars and the boxes were accomplished with tables. It took hours of coding. That's nothing lazy.
No one ever has any right to bully anyone, ever.
I forgot about the writing in that little blog box. Thanks for reminding that it really made me look like just a kid. I took the image down.

But I agree, no potential client would probably warm up to that design. And it does smack a bit of k10k's bit-pixel layout design, only less colorful.
- ********0
Seeing it as a work in progress rather than a finished project probably wouldn't help either, even though hours of coding went into its implementation. The design is rather boring, monochrome, and dull.

Look, man, that was just one piece, but a lot of what I'm trying to say goes for the other pieces. I have no idea what your role was in most of these, what the projects were, who your clients were or what you're experience has been from looking at your body of work. If you'd like I'll post a reaction to another piece so as to further illustrate why you need to rethink your self promotion strategy.
And please, don't call me a bully, because I really am trying to help you.

no one cares how long something took you to code...
... as a matter of fact - a respectable studio expects you to be able to code something that simple rather quickly. Telling them how many hours it took will <not> impress them... at all

"No one ever has any right to bully anyone, ever."
What does this even mean? Are you one of those Gen Y kids I read about in USA Today?
- monospaced0
Does that say Peaceforamo? What is this? Is this a one-man, Italian body product design firm spa or something?
>Design is creating your way of doing or putting something.
No, it's not. And I'm not sure that's even a complete sentence.
>It can be creating a game, modeling clay, or making that double-spaced essay look a lot thicker.
Yep, yep, whoah ... this guy's writing double-spaced essays? Let's hire him!
>When it comes to web design, it's a way of altering text to match a layout
>or creating that unfriendly atmosphere for visits. What the hell are you trying to communicate here? This is disturbing. I could go on, but I'm refrain because I don't want you to get too upset. I'm trying to help here.
- WORST design manifesto I've ever read. You literally tell the client you make bad sites if one reads carefully.monospaced

Don't listen to monospace, he is probably just jealous

This is pretty upsetting. I didn't ask for your critique of another one of my pieces. Please stop. Please stop posting my images on this thread.
I didn't call you a bully, but anyone who denigrates another person's work with the intention of making him or herself feel better is a bully.
Stop trying to pick at my faults and instead try to work with them. Stop twisting my words out of context.
- ********0
Stop harrassing me.
