I believe only the main comp can effect the precomp, if the collapse transformation switch is turned on...but not the other way around. Maybe try mimicking the precomp lights in the main comp.

not that I'm aware of. You need to either light the entire 3d scene in the main comp instead or just precomp them regularly ... if you want both comps to be in the same 3d space you could light them both separately, precomp them normally but connect both cameras together with an expression.

I have question, maybe it's possible, maybe not.
If I light a PREcomp, and then import that to the main composition, why does it not recognize my lights and shadows?I understand that when you use a 3D layer on a PREcomp and you want it to be 3D after import it to the main comp, you can hit the "continuosly rasterize" button and it will recognize 3D space on the main comp as well.
Is there a way to do something similar but with lights?
thanks in advance!
