I have same machine. I upgraded the ram to 14 gigs, I have 4 drives raided for a total of two 3 TB volumes, a 250 gig SSD as my main boot and work volume and a 320 gig time machine drive. It feels faster than the day I got it with the SSD. That being said, these were investments over time, I would not buy the same machine and get it up to the specs I currently have. I would invest in a new one and get a SSD, it makes a world of difference.

I wouldn't pay much for that, maybe $800, mainly for the case and CPU's. The buyer would likely have to put money into it to make it up to snuff for a pro machine.
