Nikon D90 viewfinder issue

  The viewfinder does not reflect the taken picture.
  The picture is always larger than what I see on the viewfinder, and always to the right side of the image.
  It like it's "de-aligned". Has anyone seen anything like this?

  Yes this is normal.

  Always check Viewfinder Coverage in camera specs, I think the D90 is something like 96% coverage.

  You only approach 100% coverage in full frame DSLRs or smaller hybrids with electronic viewfinders
