I've always wondered, do I have good taste?
- 2 out of 3 aint badfoz
- Yes, maybe, yes. Metric has a few glyphs I'd like to see alternates for such has the a and s... just a little sharp and unpolished.Amicus
- unpolishedAmicus
- which one aren't you feeling Foz?Amicus
- "sharp & unposlished" @ Klim Type? Mind to show us the fonts you created?non
- So now I have to be a type designer to dislike a few glyphs? Get real.Amicus
- Saying "a few glyphs are unpolished" is kind of an insult to someone who most likely worked his ass off for a couple of months if not years to develop each and every character meticulously. Seems a bit gratuitous if you ask me. Saying you don't like them is another thing.non

It's been a Klimmerful couple of years for client projects at Metagramme: National, Galaxie Copernicus, Karbon, and – stoked to start using this one for a new project – Tiempos.
Oh, and I hear a revised National, with condensed and slab versions, is in the works.

Yeh I've been a fan of their work for a while now, and have always wondered one thing...Do Klim fonts host well? Have you found them easy to use on large-scale work? Or do you think they're better used in print, and let some other fonts like those found on Typekit take the lead online.
Just curious, really.

By "host well" do you mean rendered as web fonts? The EULA for Klim's fonts doesn't allow for that, unfortunately. Large-scale: Yes, but depends on the typeface.
I've been using National for my studio's print stuff, but can't seem to find any web fonts that are close (using webfonts in my new website, currently in progress). FF Bau is the closest I've seen, but to me it looks weird. Like an even more awkward Akzidenz. For now, I've settled for Droid Sans.
