Anyone know the standard size to design e-mails for mobile in? I'm reading conflicting reports..

you shouldn't care too much. designing emails is already fucked up as is without joining mobile fragmentation to the mix.
there are too many variables in mobile phones, it's impossible to have a standard size for emails

Just send me a text email, why would I want to load images and design over a 3G or GSM connection?

it's for a mobile phone company though... so really can't have it lookin shite on their own brand mobile.
thanks anyhoo... designing for 480 x 800... and gotta hope it resizes for the others.
