Imagine this guys, going to lunch meeting everything went great. At the end of the meeting I went ahead and paid for the ticket and my card was declined. That's embarrassing, I had cash thank God. I called the bank an hour later and they told that they had a bunch of cards down since they were doing a system update. WTF Thanks for letting us know in advance... bastard
- sucks. I would have called the bank right then tho (since u knew you had money on it). For my ego's sake.shellie

It seems that they have more control over our money. And I feel that in the future we will loose that control over time.

i'm with Chase... and am ready to go too...
their 'personal bankers' lead me astray and I ended up opening a useless account that costs me money each month... all with the intent of getting some business credit rolling... ... well that fell through and now I have a useless account that costs me 12 bux a month...
... their personal bankers are JUST LIKE fast food drive-thru pricks - always trying to get you to buy a drink... add some fries...
... I think I'm finally going to break down and switch to a credit union.
- that's the job of the "personal Banker".. to upsell mercilesslyvaxorcist

I prefer PNC
I left Chase when they started charging for checking accounts. Stupid in this economy to charge me MORE for not having enough money... fine I'll take my limited funds elsewhere :)

Chase blows.
I've had nothing but problems with them.

Thats not it guys, I bought plane tickets for an upcoming trip and the card was declined once again because I had a daily limit on my account. HAHAHA WTF So I called to remove it and they can't. They told I had to open a separate account with higher limit. WTF I use other banks and never had these kind of problems.

wells fargo
"On July 20, the Federal Reserve Board ordered Wells Fargo to pay $85 million for allegedly deceiving potential borrowers into costly subprime mortgages. This is the largest fine issued by the Fed in a consumer-obligation suit. The cease and desist order addresses claims that former Wells Fargo employees misrepresented information in order to qualify otherwise ineligible borrowers. The Fed also requires Wells Fargo to compensation affected borrowers and revamp their compliance and anti-fraud programs.
Wells Fargo will potentially pay between $1,000 and $20,000 in reparation to eligible borrowers. The number of borrowers deceived by Wells Fargo who may receive compensation is estimated to be between 3,700 to possibly more than 10,000. Each restitution plan must be authorized by the Federal Reserve.
Additionally, the Fed has issued consent orders, barring 16 former employees from ever being employed in the banking industry again."
