does anyone here use boujou for camera tracking? I'm wondering if there is an easy way to make the scene *level* when importing into a 3d app.

to make it a bit clearer, I mean make the tracked ground points flat on the Z axis.

mocha might do it with less headache and is built into after effects as a side app i think

mocha only does 2d tracking

$200 - works great.

You need to tell boujou, what the x, y plane is, then it will level it out for you.
I think you can also do a 3D view with a grid which shows you all the tracking points, you then just move things...

I use synth eyes, id imagine the same applies to boujou (ive only used the demo)
when your footage has been tracked you should have some sort of option (like bluenose said) to select 3 track points to use to solve the camera. In synth eyes the first you click is x, then z, then y. so you'd use to points tracked on your ground etc then one directly above the x or z point - bigger distance the better

for anyone looking at 3d trackin software, i suggest syntheyes, more options than pfhoe and only about 450$

boujou is one of the crappiest softwares I ever used...it crashes often...doesn't work the job properly...syntheyes is really a way better solution

thanks guys, may have to make the switch to syntheyes. a good mate also uses it.
