Any suggestions? Are the $3 ones on amazon.com alright?

I've used the cheap ones... they work, some are slightly slower than the pricey ones, but it probably doesn't matter that much..... some people swear by their firewire800 card readers, but I just use what I have....

yeah I never had a SD card reader. finally after getting my i7 mbp it's been nice to have one built in.
